The cost of the bimonthly newsletter and web site maintenance and hosting are being covered by personal funds. There is no y la Familia organization budget. All the benefits are provided free of charge without a profit motive.
But, fact is, there is a cost. The newsletter can cost upwards of $1200 per year depending on the number of subscriptions, equipment breakdown, rising cost of printer ink, paper, postage, etc. Website hosting is $19.95 per month and domain registration runs $15.95 per year. As the website grows, so does the cost for hosting.
Your donation dollars can go a long way toward helping to support these operational costs. For each dollar contributed (via online process) approximately 3% goes to cost of the credit card processor provider (PayPal) and 97% goes to help defray our costs.
